This website was born from my need to have a place to share, experiment and explore my relationship with photography. I explore the process and product of photography for fun, expression, challenge and hobby. My camera provides a voice and an ability to document and share my observations and perspectives.
As a child my camera was never far from my side, which eventually led me into the darkroom in high school and college. After college I incorporated my photography into assemblage and mixed media artwork. Currently I am learning to balance my love for analogue photography with the digital advances in photography, editing and sharing.
Professionally I’m a Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in assisting individuals and families with the experience of end of life, illness, grief, trauma and different life transitions. I strongly believe that engaging in the creative process can aid in overall health and well-being, no matter your artistic experience or life circumstance.
Although my tools and mediums have varied over the years, my need for the creative process has remained an important part of what keeps me grounded, connected, aware, engaged, inspired and whole.
Here is a list of the cameras that often shoot with and will be showcased on this site: Ricoh KR-5 Super II, Fisheye, Diana F+, Spinner 360, Android Cell Phone Camera, Canon G12, Lomokino, Belair X 6-12.
